Power Cruises to IndyCar Grand Prix Victory

Soon as the race day is over, I'm ready to come back again next year.

"He has six months off and he comes back like nothing happens", said Montoya's teammate Helio Castroneves. "We passed a lot of cars and then I passed a lot of them again later on in the race". "I thought what was possible was (1:07.500) and I didn't think you could go much faster than that".

After starting the race from the pole position, the third race this season in which he has done so, Power was able to capture his first victory since he won at Pocono last season.

"It's amusing, momentum, once your whole team and crew believes that you have a shot at winning races - which we have had all year - but when you execute it, it definitely gives them confidence".

Kiwi IndyCars driver Scott Dixon has banked another solid points haul at this morning's round of the championship at the Grand Prix of Indianapolis - the road circuit used in the lead-in to the Indianapolis 500. Scott Dixon made a good move on Castroneves for second on Lap 69, at the inside of Turn 7.

"Yeah, we kind of struggled yesterday as the track got hotter, for whatever reason", Pigot said.

"I was just very conscious of the gap Dixon was closing and I kept thinking "He's going to burn his tires off" and then he kept closing", Power said.

They're going for the title and we've still got things to play for ourselves. I'm delighted for my players, they deserve this.

UK Labour leader accuses Theresa May of 'pandering' to Trump
She said: "We want social media companies to do more to help redress the balance and will take action to make sure they do". Trump contradicts White House on reasons for Comey firing, calls ex-FBI director "showboat" and "grandstander".

It is only about Marwan Barghouti's desire to gain political power and position himself to replace Abu Mazen. Barghouti supporters say video is a fabrication meant to break the prisoners' morale.

"It's certainly a nice feeling", said Hunter-Reay, the 2012 Verizon IndyCar Series and 2014 Indianapolis 500 champion.

Team Penske drivers have won the series latest three races.

Ryan Hunter-Reay finished third with defending series champion Simon Pagenaud fourth. "Indy was our strong suit past year, so we'll look forward for that on Monday".

Strategists will plan when to run in qualifying trim, when to run in race trim and how weather could affect next week's two qualification rounds and the May 28 race. I can't say we're totally 100 percent satisfied. "We'll shadow these guys and what they're doing and maybe one-up them with something, but it'll change for sure". Today, we're P9 knowing we could have been in the top five, not finishing a lucky P9, by getting a big break or a lucky yellow.

After scoring the 250th pole for Team Penske the day before, Power won the 190th victory for the team, and the third IndyCar Grand Prix in a row for "The Captain".

For Bourdais, like Newgarden, he'll start from his best position in the race's short history. If he's going to become the first American to win back-to-back 500s since 1970-71, he knows it's time to get ready.

"Well, it's actually the first good qualifying effort (of 2017) to be honest", Bourdais said. "We really struggled with space and couldn't quite get things where we wanted to be and it's the first time we were a legit Fast 6 auto". Nobody expected him to win the Indy 500 on his debut, despite a good showing in qualifying, yet superior fuel management allowed him to cruise to the finish while the cars ahead of him pitted for gas.
