Allegri wants treble after Juve's record scudetto

Juventus won their sixth Serie A title in a row on Sunday with a 3-0 victory over Crotone that means they can not be caught by Roma or Napoli.

But Juve's slip at Roma last week, where they looked jaded on their way to a 3-1 reverse that has added unexpected spice to the season's finale, left a bitter taste in Allegri's mouth.

"The formation doesn't count as much as the attitude with which you play", said Allegri.

The Bianconeri once again boasted the best defence in the division-as they have every year since 2012-with just 26 goals conceded.

Cuadrado joined Juventus on a three-year loan deal worth €5m-per-season (£4.3m) last summer, with a clause to finalise the switch during that period "subject to the achievement of certain given team results".

Not only has Juventus been more creative and unsafe going forward, threatening with every wave of attack, but it has also remained solid in defense as the forwards track back.

At the start of the campaign Allegri had a problem: making sure Higuain, freshly arrived from Napoli with a new 36-league goal Serie A record in his pocket, didn't go goal-hungry.

Joe Schmidt excited to draw host nation Japan
The draw also sees Ireland face Six Nations rivals Scotland in a draw that will be seen as favourable by head coach Joe Schmidt. Japan will become the first Asian country to host the World Cup, a move which aims to ignite rugby passion around the region.

Roma leveled shortly before the hour as El Shaarawy ran onto a Federico Fazio header from the halfway line and rounded Stefano Sorrentino, who rushed out to the edge of the penalty area, before depositing it into the empty net.

No surprises to see Chiellini here too - along with Bonucci, the partnership is also shared for the Italian national team. His loyalty was rewarded, as he kept goal for all the title winning seasons, even at the age of 39!

While Juventus has been nearly unbeatable on the road, it has also been close to impossible to pick up even a point against the Bianconeri on their home turf.

Juventus have done it in more spectacular ways in recent years, without losing a game in 2011/12 or with a record points tally of 102 in 2013/14, but their latest title can not be downplayed.

Juventus had set the previous league record of 25 consecutive home victories under Antonio Conte, between August 2013 and December 2014.

A win for Roma against Chievo on Saturday would leave Juve requiring a win to prevent the Scudetto battle from continuing until the final day of the season.
