ASUS introduces antenna-less Wi-Fi router, Blue Cave at Computex 2017

The new router, called Blue Cave, has already won the "Best Choice Golden Award" at Computex 2017. To make sure that the ASUS Blue Cave does not languish in obscurity at the back of your computer setup the company has added blue LEDs to the hole which makes it look attractive. Apart from the ZenBook Pro UX550 and the ZenBook Flip S, ASUS has also unveiled a new Wi-Fi router at the ongoing Computex 2017 expo. Most of the people love to explore different types of videos online from YouTube, NetFlix and many other such places and this new Asus Blue Cave delivers smooth 4K UHD video streaming with lag-free gaming and much more.

Asus' Blue Cave is an antenna-less Wi-Fi router with an eye-catching design.

The company designed the router in such a way that the router does not need any antenna. Instead, there is a hole in the middle which Asus likes to call a "central aperture" that directs the signal. Also, the router is said to be capable of handling more number of clients than a standard router these days would do, and that is thanks to the Intel technology. ASUS Blue Cave also comes with IFTTT support that will allow users to integrate Blue Cave with other IFTTT-enabled digital devices and services to create smart automated tasks.

The Blue Cave has no external antennas and the blue hole in the device is meant for a objective as it separates the two antennas from the motherboard of router which sits at the bottom of it.

And in light of recent malware attacks, the Blue Cave also comes with "AiProtection", the company's security offering, powered by TrendMicro. The router alos lets you easily monitor network activity and control internet usage.

The Asus Blue Cave doesn't have a release date yet, but it will cost you $180 (roughly Rs. 11,600) when it does arrive on the market.
