Taylor Swift to Spotify

In late 2014, Taylor Swift stunned the music industry by taking her music off Spotify and other streaming services, and announcing an exclusive deal with Apple Music.

However, in a more recent interview, while she was promoting her album on Sirius XM, Perry claimed she is ready to make amends with Swift.

So the question this morning is, why are Taylor Swift's albums now on Spotify?

Taylor famously removed her music from all streaming services - in a move that many considered the opposite of a "thank you" to fans - shortly before 1989 was released.

Following the Thursday announcement that the "Shake It Off" singer will bring back her music, the memes and pith were as plentiful as Perry's off-the-wall costumes and Swift's mini-skirts.

It's a well-known rumor that Swift's "Bad Blood" is about her ongoing feud with fellow pop star Katy Perry, and the former country star chose to release all her music on Spotify on the same day of the release of Perry's new album.

One of the fans believes that Swift releasing her music catalog on streaming services during the same day as Perry's album launch is just plain petty, while another believes that it is a malicious move from the pop star.

IMac Pro, the Most Powerful Mac Ever, Arrives This December
But that's going to change with the iMac Pro , which was announced at WWDC this week and launches in December. I'd say Apple announcing the iMac Pro is pretty much the nail in the coffin for the little black can design.

Ariana Grande restarts concert tour after Manchester bombing
Ariana's world tour will continue until September, and it's expected that the seven gigs she cancelled will be rescheduled. Prior to the concert, Paris police stated security would be heightened given the "powerful symbolic context" of the show.

Whether this was a move meant only to spite her bitter rival, or was instead a response to Spotify's plansto restrict its free tier, the result is the same: It's a blow to Apple Music.

"I wish that I could turn the other cheek every single time, but I'm also not a pushover", Perry proclaimed to NME just recently.

"I'm not willing to contribute my life's work to an experiment that I don't feel fairly compensates the writers, producers, artists and creators of this music", she told Yahoo about her decision at the time. Especially when someone tries to assassinate my character with little girls.

Perry later confirmed she did take three of Swift's dancers, but didn't think it needed to become public.

Some fans found the timing of Swift's return interesting.

"There's a situation", Perry told "Late Late Show" host James Corden last month while appearing with him on "Carpool Karaoke".
