"With the criminal sexual conduct charges filed against Josh King, Donnie Corley and Demetric Vance, I have decided that regardless of the final outcome of the criminal process, these three individuals have been dismissed from our program, effective immediately".

According to a radio interview with MSU Trustee Mitch Lyons, Robertson was the reporting player for a January 16 incident that occurred on campus and has resulted in sexual assault charges and the dismissal from the team of Josh King, Donnie Corley and Demetric Vance.

It was not clear when King or Corley would be arraigned. King was additionally charged with first-degree criminal sexual assault and a third-degree charge of capturing and distributing an image of an unclothed person.

Donnie Corley was formally arraigned Wednesday morning on a charge of third-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Three Michigan State University football players are accused of raping a woman in a bathroom during a party in January at an apartment on campus.

Nearly immediately after the charges were announced, Michigan State head football coach Mark Dantonio announced that Corley, King and Vance were dismissed from the program.

19, of Detroit, is one of three MSU players charged in the case.

Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio said Tuesday that he chose to dismiss all three players immediately after charges were filed because their "morals were not where they needed to be".

The pieces to the sexual assault case involving three former Michigan State football players is starting to come into shape. The report said Dantonio "took prompt and decisive action" with respect to the January incident.

There is no question that losing Corley, King and Robertson will have major ramifications this fall. The report was then forwarded to the school's student conduct office, which will decide on punishment for the three players. "He also did not inform Dantonio that the situation involved sexual misconduct or assault", the report said.

"I'm angry", Dantonio said Tuesday.

University officials announced in February that they were investigating allegations of sexual assault against three football players. The investigation found no evidence that coach Mark Dantonio violated the school's policy on relationship violence and sexual misconduct. "This is just one more step along the way", Truszkowski said.

Add in Auston Robertson - who was also dismissed from the team weeks after being accused (and eventually charged) with criminal sexual conduct in a separate incident in a neighboring township of East Lansing, and you have half of the top eight prospects from the MSU Class of 2016. "He maintains that, in fact, he is innocent, and we intend to demonstrate that in the coming proceedings".
