Neither quarterback was particularly inspiring in the Broncos' 24-17 win at Chicago in their preseason opener Thursday night - particularly in comparison to Bears rookie Mitch Trubisky, who threw for 166 yards and led three scoring drives.

Trubisky also marched the Bears to the Broncos' 22-yard line on the game's last drive, but his final pass fell incomplete.

The next two drives were stalled after wide receiver Jordan Taylor failed to find the first down marker.

Sloter finished 5-of-6 for 94 yards, one sack, and a touchdown.

Trubisky replaced Sanchez with 1:55 left in the first half, engineering a 6-play, 50-yard touchdown drive in two-minute mode. He eventually completed 10 straight before his first incompletion 1:35 into the fourth quarter.

You're so f**king negative, right? I don't like bringing up... talking about the other girls. "You're a two-faced little bitch". She continued: 'Sarah can sometimes be easily overwhelmed so I really hope she's OK in there and enjoys the experience.

But you have to believe Mike Glennon and the starting offense needs to be better when the Bears are back on the field August 19 in Arizona to prevent a full-scale public revolt by fans clamoring for No. 2 draft pick Mitch Trubisky to be the starter September 10 against the Falcons. Regardless of how the Glennon situation plays out, expect Trubisky to be handed the reins sometime in the near future. It won't matter to most that Glennon was bad against the Broncos' starters and Trubisky was great against the reserves: All that resonates is how it looks and what the numbers show about their respective performances. Glennon completed 2-of-8 passes for 20 yards and an interception. The Broncos do have a very strong defense led\ by sack machine Von Miller, which once again will help keep them in nearly any football game. Neither had a big game, as they combined for 93 passing yards.

Fox said he wasn't anxious about Glennon's confidence - "Not at all", he said - but the quarterback must spend the next week digesting the duel pressures of proving he deserves the starting job and tuning out the rookie's footsteps. He connected on his first ten passes upon entering the game and threw for a touchdown near the end of the first half, bringing the home crowd to its feet. We've got Trevor (Siemian) and we've got Paxton (Lynch), who we're satisfied with. They're both playing good football.

Trubisky, the Bears prized first round pick, had an impressive National Football League debut, completing 18 of 25 passes for 166 yards.
