Pakistan's deposed prime minister on Thursday criticized the country's Supreme Court judges for disqualifying him from office, pledging to keep up his quest for justice even as the crowds following his "caravan of democracy" road rally dwindled.

In a statement while taking to media, he predicted that Hassan Nawaz, Hussain Nawaz and Maryam Nawaz will be jailed as Supreme Court told NAB to re-open cases of corruption against the Sharif family.

Thousands of people attended a rally and procession in support of former Pakistani prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday as he embarks on a show of political power following a Supreme Court decision to disqualify him from office over undeclared assets.

The incident enraged the local resident who later raised slogans against Nawaz Sharif.

He further added that if any candidate files nomination papers without bringing a letter signed by the party head, they will not be given an election symbol.

Addressing a big gathering at Gujranwala city on his rally to Lahore, 67-year-old Sharif asked his supporters to pledge to come out on the roads with him to ensure the elected prime ministers of Pakistan are not humiliated anymore.

Sharif, who could not complete his term for a third time, also asked the gathering, "Should I sit back and accept the verdict or fight the injustice?"

"They have only removed me on paper but they have not removed me from your hearts".
