Here are some New Updates from Google's Android 'Oreo'

A lead developer of the Substratum theming engine has now confirmed that he is actively using Substratum themes on Android Oreo without a root access or a custom ROM. It will be available for the Google's Pixel and Nexus devices first and then for the brands like Motorola, OnePlus, Vivo, Samsung etc. And some companies announced their plans soon after Oreo became official.

It also brings new features such as picture-in-picture, which allows users to do two tasks simultaneously, like checking the calendar while planning a party on a Duo video call. If waiting for OTA is not your style, you can download the Android 8.0 Oreo image files, though you will lose all the data in the process.

Android Oreo brings several new features to the table including the "picture-in-picture mode", which allows users to multitask by using several apps at the same time. However, there is no timeline for the K8 Note Android 8.0 rollout yet, as these will depend on chip manufacturer support, internal development and testing requirements, according to Anuj Sharma, Head of Product Marketing - Smartphones, Lenovo India. The details regarding the specific dates for the update and the list of other HTC handsets due to get Oreo will be announced soon.
