The game was bananas. The Bruins outgained Texas A&M 403-129 in the second half.

The UCLA Bruins were down 38-10 at halftime against Texas A&M Sunday night. The Horned Frogs scored 31 straight points, including Jaden Oberkrom's 22-yard field goal with 19 seconds left to force overtime.

Texas A&M is steamrolling UCLA. Rosen was 9-of-23 for 114 yards in the first half.

Tinker flies back to College Station for one or two games each year, while Coulter doesn't get back much to Aggieland, so A&M's first trip to the Rose Bowl was a rare treat for him. They have finished 8-5 three years in a row despite reaching the top 10 in each of those seasons with starts of 6-0, 5-0 and 5-0. The Aggies' lead grew to 34 points on a Daniel LaCamera field goal with just over four minutes remaining in the third quarter.

With no timeouts and the ball on the 10-yard line in the fourth quarter, Rosen looked to be setting up his team for a spike to stop the clock. Improbable touchdowns were the theme of the night as he narrowly threw over an Aggies defender to find Darren Andrews for a 42-yard touchdown midway through the fourth.

And somewhere around there, the madness REALLY started.

The touted freshman Mond entered the game on the sixth possession for Texas A&M and played the entire second half after Starkel suffered an apparent left foot injury.

But then, Josh Rosen and the Bruins came all the way back.

Starkel was later seen on the sideline on crutches and wearing a walking boot on his lower left leg. Contrarily, Mond was only 3 of 17 for 27 yards, though he did rush for 54 yards. We were asking them to do some things that are very tough to do.

Texas A&M: Sumlin's hot seat gets hotter. "We have to finish games and overcome adversity".

The season opener, along with the draw of playing in what's considered by many to be college football's best venue, brought out Aggies in full force. Next up for UCLA is a Saturday clash with Hawaii.
