Samsung Galaxy J2 (2017) smartphone with 4G VoLTE launched at Rs 7390

Recently, Samsung launched its Galaxy Tab A (2017) tablet in India.

The new Galaxy J2 (2017) edition come with 4G support, while the key highlight of the device is its Ultra Data Saving feature.

Samsung also cut the price of its tablets, with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 9.7-inch on sale at Currys PC world with £30 off. However, the official listing of the device only shows the Absolute Black and there is no word regarding the availability of the handset.

Display: The new Galaxy J2 (2017) is a little smaller in size when compared to the 2016 edition J2.

Upfront, the Galaxy J2 (2017) features a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED display with qHD (540 x 960 pixels) display. Under the hood is an unknown chipset with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. Thankfully, the storage is expandable by a Micro SD card up to 128GB. Additionally, the smartphone comes with features like Smart Manager for automatic memory clean up and management. This news comes from Twitter leaker Ice Universe, who simply says that the "Galaxy S9 will use 3D sensor front camera".

On the photography front, the Galaxy J2 sports a 5MP auto-focus rear camera with flash and a 2-MP front camera. There is also the Ultra Data Saving mode which is claimed to help users save up to 50 percent data.

Measuring 136.5 x 69.0 x 8.4mm, the smartphone weighs 130 grams.

The phone is only available in black and gold colors and it is launched in India for INR 7,390 and is expected to launch in Pakistan in few weeks.
