The app has notched up to a whopping 5 million downloads and 2.5 million daily effective users over the past nine weeks with its app. The user can unlock and send more questions depending on how often he or she has been picked to answer a question.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed, but according to TechCrunch, the cost was less than $100 million since it will not require regulatory approval. The app's FAQ says that the team now has no plans to monetize tbh, but when they do they said that they will be "soliciting feedback from the community to make sure it complements the experience". The questions cover such things as notes of affection ("I will marry them"), straightforward compliments ("Freckles on fleek"), endorsements and sarcasm ("Would drive to your house and wake you up to tell you who finally texted back"). The app generates positive and kind-hearted poll topics, such as "has the most integrity", or "best shoulder to cry on", and then selects four people from a user's uploaded contacts to select from. The giant is current testing out Workplace chat apps app for Mac and Windows systems as well and now this new special app which is an anonymous polling app making the teens go addicted to it with the single use. The only difference is that they have access to more resources because of Facebook. "We felt that people craved genuine and positive interactions in their online experiences", "tbh" said in a statement. The acquisition also eliminates a nascent competitor. They are building community and allowing people to share in ways that bring them closer together. "While the last decade of the Internet has been focused on open communication, the next milestone will be around meeting people's emotional needs".
