Kathy Griffin slams New Year's replacement Andy Cohen as 'deeply misogynistic'

Griffin was replaced by Cohen as the cohost on Anderson Cooper's New Year's Eve special on CNN after she was sacked for posing for a photo holding a severed, bloody head resembling Donald Trump earlier this year. She also confirmed that Cohen may walk around saying he doesn't know who she is, but he in fact has two Emmys for her show "My Life on the D List".

The 56-year-old My Life on the D-List star drew swift condemnation from both sides of the political aisle over the image; she was quickly fired from her hosting duties on CNN's annual New Year's Eve coverage, and saw the cancelation of numerous tour dates on her cross-country comedy tour. "I don't know her".

Cohen said, "Who? I don't know her".

She then claimed: 'The whole time I was working there, I didn't know Andy Cohen wanted to be me.

As previously reported, Griffin released a 17-minute video called "Kathy Griffin: A Hell Of A Story", in which she took Cohen to task for allegedly being a "miserable boss", she later followed up the video with a tweet insisting that he treating her "like a dog" and called him "deeply misogynistic". Kathy also attacked Harvey Levin, the creator of TMZ, whom she claims took part in trying to ruin her career. She added, "He wants to be me".

Andy Cohen says he is "completely stunned" by Kathy Griffin's claims that the talk show host offered her drugs on multiple occasions. "It is 100% false and totally made up".

A representative for Levin did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Griffin is on a tour of Australia, Europe and Asia through November 29.
