Lynch said he had tried to make the most of his time as his shoulder healed.

As first reported by Denver radio host Benjamin Albright and later by ESPN's Dan Graziano, Paxton Lynch will get the start under center when the Broncos travel to Oakland on Sunday to play the Raiders. While starting on the road brings a challenge - the Broncos are 0-4 in visiting parks this season - Lynch will face a favorable defense. In that game, Derek Carr went 28-49 for 237 yards, a touchdown, and a pick while Marshawn Lynch led the ground with 11 rushes for 67 yards and Michael Crabtree made 6 receptions for 51 yards.

Lynch was drafted by the Broncos in the first round of the 2016 draft. "While I was in the training room watching from the inside out, it was just a big emphasis for me being on my iPad the whole time since I couldn't be out there getting the reps".

Since 1990 no National Football League team has started 3-7 and reached the playoffs. Quarterback play has been a liability for the Broncos all season. A projected month-long hiatus became a three-month recovery.

The games were tight in the third set with cracking forehands kissing the tramlines and cutting cross-court angles. But, of course, it would be naïve to write off the fiery young German too early.

Lynch was asked last week if he believed he was ready, physically and from a study standpoint, to be the starter. But, I talked to the trainers and the coaches, and like I said, they've done a good job so far and I feel great.

The move comes after the team fired offensive coordinator Mike McCoy on Monday morning and lost their sixth consecutive game on Sunday.

In a season full of accusations of quitting, not caring and just being flat out soft, Anderson's postgame demeanor should serve as a reminder to all; you don't care more than they do.
