Michael Crabtree and Aqib Talib have history - The last time these two teams met, in week 17 of last season, Talib ripped off Crabtree's chain after the two exchanged words. It is not surprising that punches followed, which led to both players' ejections from Sunday's game.

"I came out there to play football on Sunday", Talib told reporters Monday. He made it clear getting tossed is "unacceptable", but he also supported Talib for defending his teammate, Chris Harris, who claimed Crabtree sucker-punched him in his gut the play before the fight ensued. Just a thought: But maybe Crabtree shouldn't wear his chain when facing Talib and the Broncos. Sunday's altercation was much more heated than last year's, however, with the two engaging in a push-pull match that ended up knocking over at least a couple people standing on the sideline before they were swarmed by Broncos players. The first half of it was him being extra.

"I don't like it, and it's unacceptable", Joseph said immediately after the game during his postgame press conference.

Harris accused Crabtree of punching him in the stomach the play before Talib and Crabtree renewed their rivalry with fisticuffs. "We can't lose our best corner in a game like that". "I just hope the league sees that".

"I didn't defend Chris, [Crabtree] came and punched me, he was on his, whatever he was on", Talib said.

Expect the National Football League to hand out plenty of fines for this brawl.

Talib was fined and suspended for an incident in 2015, in which he poked former Colts tight end Dwayne Allen in the eye late in a game in Indianapolis. Internally? No, because I'm not sure how it all started. Punches are being thrown, helmets are off. If you have no chance, you defend yourself as a man.

"No, I didn't even defend Chris", Talib said.
