Marvel Debuts Trailer for 'Avengers: Infinity War'

This can only mean one thing: war.

After months and months of waiting, leaks and teasers, the first trailer for Avengers: Infinity War is finally here and it has all your favourite Marvel Cinematic Universe heroes fighting side-by-side.

The action-packed trailer, a version of which premiered at D23 this summer, sets the scene with a quick catch-up voiceover accompanied by images of Earth's mightiest heroes.

"So when they needed us, we could fight the battles...", says Thor (Chris Hemsworth). Kevin Feige is right about that, we nearly never see the end of a hero portrayed on the big screen. Even worse: Thanos has the Infinity Gauntlet, and if the manages to collect every stone, he could have unlimited power over the universe itself.

Granted, it's hard to gauge Groot's actual height from this photo alone, but we'd wager that he's now of similar stature to Gamora (Zoe Saldana) or Mantis (Pom Klementieff), which will only spell all kinds of mayhem for the Guardians going forward. It's the first of two upcoming Avengers movies that the Russo brothers have directed, with the now untitled Avengers 4 due in May 2019.
