The Onslow County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man in connection to the disappearance of 3-year-old Mariah Woods. He is also charged with second-degree burglary, felony larceny and possession of stolen property, authorities said.

The Onslow County Sheriff's Office says 32-year-old Earl Kimrey is being held on more than $1 million bond in the Onslow County Detention Center on charges that include concealing a death and obstruction of justice.

Woods' mother first reported her missing Monday morning.

There is no indication as yet that Mariah's body has been found but police believe she is deceased.

The agency is transitioning from search operations to recovery operations, officials said.

Kimrey is now being held in the Onslow County Detention Center under a $1,010,000 bond.

Oil prices fall over uncertainty on Opec output
That was a bit bigger than the forecast for a decline of 3 million barrels from analysts surveyed by S&P Global Platts. The oil for delivery in February traded lower by Rs 2.30, or 0.39 per cent, to Rs 586 per 10 kg in 221 lots.

Mariah's parents are divorced, and her father, Alex Woods, said that while his daughter is living with her mother, his week had been "like hell, like a nightmare". Kimery told her the little girl woke up and he told her to go back to sleep.

Kimrey removed the girl's body from the place where she died and knew her death was not natural, according to arrest warrants.

A statement issued by the Sheriff's Office says the child, Mariah Woods, is believed to be dead. Prosecutors are reviewing whether additional charges should be filed.

Kristy, who this week disabled her Facebook account after posting the missing person's appeal for her daughter, claimed that Mariah was taken by a stranger.

The statement did not indicate whether Kimrey had a lawyer or if anyone else could also be charged. "Just bring her home, please, safe and sound". "Nobody heard anything? Four people in the house, two adults and two kids someone just comes up and snatches the baby and walks out?"

Kimrey allegedly "failed to notify a law enforcement authority of the death of Mariah Woods, and secretly disposed of the dead child's body", according to the warrant.
