Robbie recently revealed what she's taken away from I, Tonya in terms of what a producer is supposed to do. A year later, an "insane and twisted" Joker and Harley flick was announced. "But I've been working on a separate spinoff Harley thing for a while now". Still, that didn't keep it from ordering two different edits of Suicide Squad, favoring the edit from the team responsible for the successful trailer as opposed to Ayer's original cut.

Currently, there are several films planned for the plucky antagonist including Suicide Squad 2, one focused on the Gotham City Sirens, and the Joker/Harley team-up movie. Though, she's confident she'll be stepping back into Harley hot trousers sometime next year.

Robbie starred as Harley Quinn in the David Ayer directed Suicide Squad and has first-hand experience with a film that didn't completely follow a director's core vision.

Meanwhile, production on the Suicide Squad sequel is expected to begin next year.

Now, in a new interview with MTV, Robbie says that there is yet another Harley Quinn movie in the works.

It's possible Robbie is talking about the solo Harley Quinn movie that had Christina Hodson attached as writer.

The film is reportedly to be called Gotham City Sirens and it's going to have to be good to catch up with Marvel. Yeah, I'm sure Warner Bros. won't bungle this all.

It's not known which of the Harley Quinn movies will hit the big screen first as Margot Robbie offers: "I, honestly, don't think anyone knows what's going to be the next thing to happen, but I think everyone's keen to get Harley back on screen. She needs other girls around her cause she loves that". "She loves meeting people - any people - but she needs a little girl gang". At the moment, fans are waiting for an official announcement to clarify Harley's live-action future. There are four Harley Quinn movies on the schedule and at least two more Wonder Woman films.
