Vodafone offers new tariff plans for Rs 198

The plan has a validity of 28 days, which means, effectively the plan offers 28GB data through its validity. Customers will also get 100 SMS per day for 28 days, which takes it to 2800 SMS per month.

The Jio 299 plan offers the same 28 days validity period as the Jio 199 plan but gives you 2GB of 4G data per day. And, last weekend, telecom operator Reliance Jio announced two new prepaid plans priced at ₹199 and ₹299 as a part of its Happy New Year 2018 offer.

Jio introduced Rs 199 and Rs 299 plan over the weekend. Customers on this recharge plan also get unlimited local, STD, roaming incoming and outgoing calls.

Vodafone in a statement has said that this ₹198 prepaid plan is available across all the circles having Vodafone's 4G network, however, when we checked on Vodafone's website, it was actually unavailable in circles like Gujarat, Delhi-NCR, Punjab and Chennai.

As the telecom battle gets stiff, major service providers have started pushing dirt cheap offers, each passing day. While just earlier today BSNL revised its Plan 186, and Vodafone has now launched a new Rs 198 plan. Vodafone also offers a data roll-over feature, of up to 200GB, which will allow you to carry forward the unused data.

The new plan of the Telecom Operator Vodafone is valid in nearly every circle in India. The newly launched plans of Jio are worth Rs. 199 and Rs. 299. On the other hand, Jio is offering unlimited calls without any limit on both its new year plans. This is what Airtel and Idea Cellular are also offering. That said, this offer is open to all new Vodafone customers irrespective of which handset they're using. Another difference is the unlimited data usage after the daily limit.

Airtel also has few plans that could give a tough fight to Jio.
