All Nippon Airways tweeted an apology Wednesday to passengers who were aboard a flight that departed Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) for Tokyo and returned to the airport mid-flight before reaching its destination.

The crew of the All Nippon Airways flight discovered the errant passenger hours into the flight Tuesday and the jet returned to Los Angeles.

The passenger reportedly had a boarding pass for a United flight, not an ANA flight, which makes this entire mix-up even more confounding, given the number times are an airline passenger's boarding pass and identification are scanned and scrutinized from the time they arrive at an airport to the time they're allowed on a plane.

"Almost there, feel like we've been getting nowhere", John Legend sang seven years ago in a dubstep collaboration with Magnetic Man that proved foreshadowing for the singer and his wife Chrissy Teigen. She wondered on Twitter why the plane was turning around four hours into the 11-hour flight.

"During the flight, the cabin crew became aware that one of the passengers boarded the incorrect flight and notified the pilot", the statement said.

Julian Assange's Twitter account has vanished
This is all the more puzzling since the main Wikileaks Twitter account were up, as usual, having new posts since Friday, Dec. 22. The post was a quote from Assange himself, which read: "A knowledgeable public, is an empowered public, is a free public".

He was evaluated for a concussion and later ruled out for the rest of the game. The Texans have lost four straight games.

"Why not just land in Tokyo and send the other person back?" she tweeted.

A source told CNN that an authorized passenger was on the flight. Teigen tweeted that she had "so many questions" and said the person who had boarded the wrong flight "must be mortified". "Why ... why do we all gotta go back, I do not know (sic)" According to several reports, flight 175 landed back at LAX at approximately 7.30pm. She quipped: "I have been moved to a room with Bravo".

"Taking off! Please don't be the same menu please don't be the same menu", she tweeted. She wrote: "They keep saying the person had a United ticket". The total time for the flight to take off and return was just over eight hours.

Teigen said after the long flight that authorities in Los Angeles boarded the plane and interviewed people seated near the unauthorized person.

The Police Department said it was alerted and units were requested to stand by at the gate.
