Something new the Bronze Edition of the KeyOne has is dual-SIM support, which is popular in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. On the surface level it is almost identical to its predecessors, just this time it has a bronze body and bronze colour accents on the chassis, power button, and volume key.

In fact, the global rollout continues with variants of BlackBerry KEYone newly released in Mexico and South Korea.

BlackBerry decided against announcing the successor to the KEYOne at CES, instead opting to use its stage time to make two smaller announcements - one meant to bolster sales of its existing smartphone range, and a second that could help drum up excitement for the year ahead.

Like the Black Edition of the keyboard-toting handset, the Bronze Edition comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, up from the 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage on the standard KeyOne. According to TCL, BlackBerry KEYone Bronze Edition will go on sale later in Q1 2018 in select markets mentioned earlier for a price that will be disclosed later on.

This is no surprise after the first original BlackBerry-branded TCL devices released in 2017, the BlackBerry KeyOne and BlackBerry Motion, were received well by users craving a return to the BlackBerry smartphone.

While TCL has refrained from indicating what devices we may see in 2018, users can expect numerous software updates, including a focus to bring Android 8.0 Oreo to BlackBerry devices.
