Android Pay was primarily created to allow people to make simple and secure payments from their mobile phones. The reason why Android Pay has failed to make the cut till now, is because Google apparently believes that the service would make little sense here. Instead, Google opted to go a different path by launching Google Tez, an app that now lets you make bill payments. Google wallet was its NFC payment system for smartphones.
