Word spread like wildfire Tuesday afternoon, with various sports media sources reporting that Georgia quarterback Jacob Eason has made a decision regarding his future; and all sources point to Seattle. This season, he started game one against Appalachian State before leaving the game with a knee injury. True freshman Jake Fromm took over for Eason and never relinquished the job, leading the Bulldogs to an SEC championship and a spot in Monday's national championship game in Atlanta.

No, K.J. Carta-Samuels won't be around anymore, not even for his final season of eligibility in 2018, as he has chose to transfer but Eason will be the next in line.

Fromm's strong play led to his keeping the starting job even when Eason was healthy enough to return.

Other factors likely played a role in Eason's departure. As Georgia made a run to its first College Football Playoff berth, and a thrilling victory over Oklahoma in the Rose Bowl, Eason said he tried to be a team player. The Georgia Bulldogs also signed the No. 1 high school recruit in the country, according to ESPN Top 300 Justin Fields.

Wahlberg-William pay gap: Time's Not Up Yet in Hollywood
While Plummer and the crew got paid, Scott refused payment, he said at the time, and so did star Michelle Williams . The Washington Post reported in November that Wahlberg was paid almost $2 million for the reshoots over 10 days .

Eason went to high school in Lake Stevens, Wash. which is 45 minutes from UW.

A former five-star recruit, Eason had considered the Huskies during his initial recruitment out of Lake Stevens.

Potentially adding Eason means Sirmon and Yankoff will receive more time to develop under new offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Bush Hamdan. The Huskies brought in not one but two four-star quarterbacks in their 2018 recruiting class in Jacob Sirmon and Colson Yankoff. He completed 69.5 percent of his passes and averaged almost 276 yards per game. Jake Browning, unless he surprisingly declares for the National Football League draft in the next several days, will finish his career as a senior next season.
