Facebook news feeds to put more focus on 'meaningful' content

Billions have flocked to Facebook as a catch-all for the internet at large, curating their likes to their interests and the information they wanted to see.

As part of the change, News Feeds will feature fewer news articles and less marketing content and ads. If he means what he says, he'll acknowledge that control over the algorithm shouldn't be wielded by him or any other executive, but by Facebook's users.
