Daboll replaces Rick Dennison with the Bills; Dennison was sacked last week, after Buffalo lost in the wild-card round of the playoffs.

The Buffalo Bills have hired Alabama OC Brian Daboll to serve in the same capacity.

Daboll spent 17 years in the National Football League prior to coming to Alabama, including 11 with the Patriots in two different stints.

"(To) have an opportunity to come here at the University of Alabama and be around coach Saban and all the administration here, the players, the fanbase is unbelievable", Daboll said after the CFP Championship Game.

Emergency missile attack alert not real, police say
Hawaii's Emergency Management Agency likewise confirmed that there was no threat, and that it was investigating the incident. Some people have said that they heard emergency sirens while others say that the sirens never went off.

Brian Daboll comes to the team after recently helping Alabama win a college football championship as their offensive coordinator.

The offensive coordinator is headed back to the NFL. He was offensive coordinator of the Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs all at one point. Bills coach Sean McDermott was a senior at William & Mary during Daboll's first coaching job - a one-year stint as a restricted earnings assistant for the Tribe. He spent this past season in the college ranks, leading Alabama's offense under head coach Nick Saban.

Daboll also has Western New York ties. Last February, he won a Super Bowl ring as a member of the Patriots staff and is less than a week removed from a national title triumph with Bama. Though their quarterback situation is up in the air, especially if they move on from Tyrod Taylor, the hiring of Daboll should inspire continued optimism regarding the future of this franchise.
