Marvel's Black Panther opens in theaters on February 16, but you can win tickets to see a sneak preview days ahead of the rest of the public. The first critic reviews have been released online this morning and it's safe to say that there is a positive word of mouth surrounding the critics.

Actors Lupita Nyong'o, Michael B. Jordan, and Chadwick Boseman attend the Marvel Studios' em Black Panther /em Global Junket Press Conference on January 30, 2018 at Montage Beverly Hills in Beverly Hills, California.

But there is no comic book film without some very cool action sequences, and in Black Panther, nearly every action sequence dazzles on screen.

"It's weird because it wasn't a pitch as much as I got a call from Nate Moore, who produced on [Captain America: The Winter Soldier] and [Captain America: Civil War]".

But we also get to see how Black Panther uses some of those comic book themes as a reflection of today.

I had the vast pleasure of sitting down with many members of the Black Panther cast last week during the film's Los Angeles press day, and during those individual and paired conversations I took the opportunity to ask them about actors they would want to see join the franchise someday.

Natalie Portman Raps Again on SNL
Yes, it's a guise for the Super Bowl rivalry, complete with Rachel Dratch and Tina Fey cameos, and it's just a great sketch. Israeli-American actress Natalie Portman hosted " Saturday Night Live " for the second time this week.

The average rating for Black Panther right now is an 8.6/10, while Thor: Ragnarok's score was 7.5/10 and Spider-Man: Homecoming's score was 7.7/10 in comparison.

Helping chip away at the notion of superhero movies as white male terrain is acclaimed writer/director Ryan Coogler (Creed, Fruitvale Station), while the film boasts such an array of exciting acting talent it was evidently a struggle to get them all on the poster. We can be superheroes.

First up to whet fan appetites is Marvel's Black Panther, bringing us a rousing standalone adventure for the eponymous African king, who we first encountered in a snazzy vibranium-enriched bodysuit in the superhero battle royale Captain America: Civil War. For Ryan Coogler, the job of directing Black Panther wasn't something he had to pitch and pursue as much as it was a role he was approached for by the powers that be within the studio. Dual-wielding weapons is Letitia Wright (Urban Hymn, Humans) as Shuri, tech genius and T'Challa's 16-year-old sister. Whereas, in our film that character is just settling in. "Interscope got my information from Disney, and I was little shocked because I'm mostly known for doing illustration and sequential art (comics) and I've done a few pieces that have gone viral in the past, but never would I have the conceit to even think I could a part of something on this scale", exclaimed Draper-Ivey. Those qualities also help to elevate Michael B Jordan's Killmonger. The family is unique to Black Panther.

It is after this event where Killmonger is introduced and Ulysses Klaue (played with devilish glee by Andy Serkis) a villainous arms deal first explored in Avengers: Age of Ultron returns. He goes with the general of the Dora Milaje, Okoye played by the legitimately ideal being that is Danai Gurira and his ex-lover, Nakia played by Lupita Nyong'o.

Aiding and abetting this unsafe ploy is Erik Killmonger (a beyond-charismatic Michael B. Jordan of Creed), an ex-US military agent who knows more than he is letting on about the mystical Wakandan way of life.
