The Kenyan-Mexican actress, who plays spy Nakia in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film, took time out at the London Black Panther premiere on Thursday (08Feb18) to pay tribute to the actor, who has been nominated for an Oscar for his performance in hit horror movie Get Out.

Black Panther director Ryan Coogler told NPR that Lamar was originally only meant to contribute a few songs to the soundtrack, but after seeing a cut of the Marvel movie, the Compton rapper decided he wanted to make the whole thing. Critics have praised the film's look, action scenes and Michael B Jordan's performance in particular.

"Being a Marvel fan, you want to grab all the characters, he said".

Kraven was first introduced in a 1964 issue of The Amazing Spider-Man and he's best known as one of Spidey's enemies.

The review comes from Urban Cinefile who offers a similar response to the previous review in that Black Panther seems unsure where it belongs.

Over the years, there have been many dream castings for Kraven, while stars like Jeffrey Dean Morgan or Javier Barden would be ideal additions to the MCU as the muscular madman.

The end of Homecoming may have loosely set up its own origins for a Sinister Six movie, but it looks like Sony will still power through with its plans to bring the notorious team of supervillains to our screens alongside Kraven and Mysterio movies.

Black Panther is predicted to break box-office records, and with Lamar's muscle behind it, the film's companion album should claw its way to the top of Billboard charts as well.
