Missouri coach Cuonzo Martin said Wednesday that Mizzou freshman Michael Porter, Jr., will be ready to play for the Tigers when they open play in the SEC Tournament on Thursday.

But Porter has been ahead of schedule in his recovery and has now been practicing with the team for a week. "I feel good about it'". Porter Jr. later underwent surgery in Dallas.
