Meghan Markle breaks royal protocol with 10-year-old fan

USA actress Meghan Markle has been baptised by the Archbishop of Canterbury, the spiritual head of the Church of England, ahead of her royal wedding in May to Britain's Prince Harry, the Daily Mail newspaper reported on Thursday.

The 36-year-old's baptism is the latest step on her road to royalty.

While Prince Harry, Prince Charles, Duchess Camilla and one of Markle's friends were all present at the baptism, Prince William and Duchess Kate were not in attendance.

Meghan Markle has made a schoolgirl's "dream come true" after she shared a special moment with a budding 10-year-old actress during an official engagement in Birmingham.

Meghan's fiancé Prince Harry pulled astonished Sophia Richards out of the crowd to meet the United States actress on the couple's walkabout after she told him of her ambition to follow in the footsteps of the Suits star, reported the Daily Mail.

He brought her over to meet his fiancée, actress Meghan Markle.

Meghan and Harry are set to marry in May this year in an intimate ceremony in the grounds of Windsor Castle. They also took a trip to the Nechells Wellbeing Centre to join the sports mentorship organization Coach Core's apprentices as they take part in a training class. It was recently revealed they had invited members of the public to their wedding day too.
