Ryan being series regular was seemingly hinted in the latest episode, "Necromancing the Stone" when Sara said she might have to "save a bed" for him on the ship.

WBTV's release to press didn't expand on any further details, other than John Constantine would be among the main team members on the Waverider.

On May 8th, 2015, Constantine was cancelled after just one season on the air. After a previous feature film adaptation that may have been a cool movie but a bad translation (Keanu Reeves was horrifically miscast), we finally got a proper on-screen version thanks to actor Matt Ryan's pitch-perfect John Constantine. Now, Ryan will officially join the cast as a series regular should the network renew the show for a possible fourth season.

The CW has yet to announce any decisions regarding next season's slate and, that being the case, they haven't made any statements regarding the future of the Arrowverse and what shows will be back for the 2018-2019 season.
