Roseanne posts weird pro Trump message

While Roseanne Conner's (Roseanne Barr) support for Trump was a central storyline in the first episode of the March 27 premiere, the second episode quickly moved away from the political theme many viewers assumed would be a constant thread throughout the entire revival season.

TMZ did some digging, and we found out the Conners' couch went to a production warehouse after the show went off the air in 1997. and it remained there for years until a show honcho bought it.

The reboot, which only premiered on Tuesday, raked in a jaw-dropping 18.1 million viewers, making it the highest-rated sitcom in more than three years.

The Carsey-Werner Television-produced show stars Roseanne Barr as Roseanne Conner, John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Lecy Goranson, Sara Gilbert, Michael Fishman, Emma Kenney, Ames McNamara, and Jayden Rey.

Following the premier, Barr received a call from President Donald Trump congratulating her on the success of the show. "I disagree on some things, but give him benefit of doubt-4 now", tweeted the actor, whose show, Roseanne, returned to ABC Tuesday to sky high ratings.
