Hopefully, this full pardon may definitely help a part of his entire life. A source in the White House said on Thursday that Trump was considering a pardon.

Better known as "Scooter", he was former Vice President Dick Cheney's chief of staff. President George W. Bush commuted the prison sentence, but granted no pardon.

What do you think of Scooter Libby's pardon?

She called it the "right thing to do" and wouldn't comment further on why he did it because Trump doesn't know Libby. According to Time, he argued Libby was a loyal team player who had been made into a political fall guy. "The facts are compelling".

In the George W. Bush White House, Libby was a close confidante of Cheney. "A TOTAL WITCH HUNT!" the president has tweeted about the Mueller investigation.

I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby, Vice President Dick Cheney's top aide, was convicted of obstruction and lying to investigators.

"Suffice to say, he's thrilled", she said of Libby, who she said had just gotten out of an MRI.

Dwayne Johnson Says Black Adam Could Film Next Year
Since then - we've seen exactly zero of Black Adam on the big screen. "I feel really, really fortunate that that's how we work". At one point Claire says: "Lucky for us our building has some of the most powerful radio antennae on the face of the earth".

Comey went on to become Federal Bureau of Investigation director and was sacked by Trump, a move that led to the appointment of Robert Mueller, another former Federal Bureau of Investigation director whom Trump nearly daily accuses of conducting a "witch hunt".

There's a case for pardoning Libby, but Trump wasn't interested in making it. Trump has not ruled out pardons in the Russian Federation investigation.

"I don't know Mr. Libby, but for years I have heard that he has been treated unfairly. This cries out for a pardon". Some argued that, as Hamilton put it, “the supposition of the connivance of the Chief Magistrate ought not to be entirely excluded.” In the end, though, they chose to give, even for treason, the pardon power to the president alone. He served as FBI Director from 2013-2017 when he was sacked by Trump.

The special counsel responsible for the probe of Libby was appointed by then-Deputy Attorney-General, James Comey.

Libby's attorneys, Joseph diGenova and Victoria Toensing, issued a statement thanking Trump for "addressing a gross injustice" they said was inflicted by Fitzgerald and Comey. Pardoning Libby certainly seems like one way for Trump to discreetly assure any supporters touched by the Mueller investigation that he will take care of them in the long run-if they cover for the president.

In a statement, Libby thanked Trump, saying his family has "suffered under the weight of a bad injustice". He added, "And if a person does not tell the truth, particularly if he serves in government and holds the public trust, he must be held accountable".

In August a year ago, Trump pardoned former Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
